Massage + You
Massage is one of the oldest forms of therapy, This system of stroking, pressing and kneading can relieve pain, relax, stimulate, and tone the body. Massage works the soft tissues (the muscles, tendons, and ligaments) to improve muscle tone. Massage also stimulates blood circulation and assists the lymphatic system, improving the elimination of waste and toxins throughout the body.
Although a single massage will be enjoyable, the effects of massage are cumulative -- a course of massage treatments will bring the most and longest-lasting benefits. Regular massage can strengthen and tone the entire body, and so help to prevent unnecessary strains and injuries. Massage can reduce fatigue, leaving the reciever with a feeling of replenished energy. Regular, focused massage has the potential to restore the individual physically, mentally and spiritually. |
